My name is Darryl Boos and I have been in the the trucking industry for 29 years. For 17 of those years, I proudly owned and operated D. Boos and Son Trucking Service before beginning my rewarding career as a driving instructor. ​ My passion for instruction came from my father, Bill Boos. Bill was the owner of Angus Driving school for many years as well as an instructor for George Brown College's Cherry St. Campus where he trained tractor-trailer drivers. Before that, he shared his expertise with the Royal Canadian Army Service Courps serving as a military truck instructor.

Having an experienced instructor by my side had a profound influence on me. We developed many easy-to- learn maneuvers, simple and effective collision avoidance strategies and strong visual scanning techniques that benefit every driver. 

 

In our program, we work with novice drivers to build skill and confidence, nervous drivers to overcome fear, and senior drivers to adapt safely to changing road and traffic conditions.
